After receiving requests from many ballet dance teachers to come accompany their ballet classes, I decided that the next best option was to create an album with all the music needed for a traditional ballet class. Complete with tempo options, the best thing about this album is that it’s all performed on the CELLO!!

Jean Daniel Braun (?-1738) was a French flautist, composer, and publisher who published 10 collections of his own works during his lifetime. The pieces that make up the 5 Suites were published posthumously and share a common movement with Braun's Sonata for Two Bassoons, thus confirming Braun's authorship. Presented here for the first time on cello, these suites are wonderful examples of the simplistic, yet appealing music of Jean Daniel Braun.
